FLAG has created an "Alumni" page this year to honor past members from this point forward, through continued recognition on our website.
Judy comes from a long line of very talented and creative people. In her Norwegian lineage are writers, visual artists, blacksmiths, animal lovers, farmers and sailors (and most likely a Viking or two). Her art training has been squeezed in between various occupations ranging from bookkeeper to millworker to farm worker.
Angela is a local, self taught artist based out of Langley, BC. Her paintings include a variety of wild life, landscapes, still life, and portraits. These works are inspired by beautiful scenery, structures, and faces that tell a deeper story behind them.
Jeanie teaches from her studio and continues to pursue opportunities to grow in her work. Two local restaurants Tastefully Yours on Enterprise Way and Cornerstone Cafe on 96th are currently hosting POP-UP Gallery space for Jeanie's work. Most recently she has shown her work in the White Rock Gallery, The Fort Gallery, The Langley Township Civic Building and the Langley Centennial Museum.
Donna is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. She has participated in several juried shows and has received recognition for her work. Initially, I like to compose my work through the lens of the camera, looking for interesting patterns of shape and value. The play of light and shadow on the subject is what excites me the most and is almost always the key consideration when developing an idea into a painting.
